My name is Yumi Ha, and I am a sophomore majoring in biochemistry and Spanish with a minor in Italian and international business. This summer, I studied abroad in Rome throughout May. I fueled my love of art by taking the class “Art and Culture of Italy,” where we visited various museums, churches, and other cultural sites every day of the class. I also got to practice my Italian not only by taking intermediate Italian I, but also by interacting with the natives. Another perk was meeting new people and making new friends and getting to travel with them. It was an amazing experience, and I am so grateful for it.
